Photography rocks!!! Thanks to my lens I was able to sit down with Cathy and Deb from Nostrana who are as foodie obsessed as I.


These passionate ladies create such simple yet elegant pizza - the likes of which has not passed these lips since my last trek through Campania. The ingredients are fresh and speak for themselves so I wont ramble on with useless words and just recommend you go taste them for yourselves.

Nostrana mesmerized me with real wood fired flames and one of my favorite cheeses, Burrata, that I was lucky enough to find on the ever changing farm fresh daily menu.

The space seems impersonal at first glance from the strip mall building in which this treasure is housed, but as soon as you walk in you are greeted with old world hospitality and the inner space is filled with personal decorative touches that reminded me of my own grandmothers kitchen.

If you get the chance, sit at the communal table for that authentic Italian feel and check out the AMAZINGLY extensive Italian wine list. Share conversation and a toast with your fellow food lovers as the warm glow of the oven fires warm the night and spirit.
