Long week

I was out Near Lincoln City shooting a fantastic wedding last week when on the way home my new little Honda decided it was not going to work. Great..100 degrees and a car full of 2 dogs in the relative middle of nowhere (17 miles from cell reception).

Luckily there was a wonderful little house at the end of the nearest dirt road. Things in life always happen for a reason. I met the most wonderful people John & Jeanine. We talked about Peak Oil, love, and life till the tow truck (they sent out 2!!!!) arrived to cart us back to PDX.

This week has been run run run...public transport/ walking has been an adventure... specially with my camera stuffs in tow. My car is now all fixed! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!Which is grand as its gonna be a doozy of a day. I have already shot one artist for an article, shooting another later, then off to do a preggers photoshoot and then a Sissy show to shoot tonight- hopefully I can squeeze my yoga nad my swim in there at some point.

I love days like this and would not have it any other way.

I have also been thinking quite a bit this week about the types of photography I have been shooting. I really want to start making more of a difference with my lens and not just composing pretty pictures. As fun and financially rewarding as that may I am trying to find more emotional and spiritual fullfillment through my craft. I will keep everyone posted if my grand plan works out. In the interim I will still be taking as many portrait/wedding/event/advertising/ and news gigs as life will throw at me and I can handle.
